Bartle Frere – The Highest Peak in Queensland

Bartle Frere is the highest mountain in Queensland and part of Wooroonooran National Park. Its a place of stunning scenery and beautiful tropical rain forests. Me and Gabriel took the two day hike camping on the very top. Sleeping under the stars was a bit chilly but what a mesmerising sight. The start of the trail is at the famous Josephine Falls near Babinda, just an hour south of my second home, Cairns.
